Jack Holt would make his name in westerns mostly, although he did play Clark Gable's rival for Jeannette MacDonald in "San Francisco" (1906) (he's Jessie Ralph's son, and does not survive the earthquake).  His son Tim Holt also played mostly in westerns, but did make appearances in three non-westerns of note: "Back Street" with Margaret Sullivan and Charles Boyer, as Boyer's son, at first a nasty type toward Sullivan (he views her as a home wrecker) but later quite contrite; "The Magnificent Ambersoms" as the spoiled Georgie Ambersom Minafer, who prevents his mother (Dolores Costello) to marry Joseph Cotton when his father dies, but thus destroys his own chances of marrying Cotton's daughter Anne Baxter; and "Curtain" who with Howard (Walter Huston) and Fred C. Dobbs (Humphrey Bogart) get the gold from the mountain but find conflict amongst themselves and from Alfonso Bedoya in "The Treasure of Sierra Madre".

Negri had her best career films in the silent period, and was (at the time of his 1926 death) dating Rudolphe Valentino.  With sound she returned to Europe.  She retired about 1940, and did not make her last film until the 1960s when she appeared in a cameo role in the Walt Disney film "The Moon Spinners" with Eli Wallach.
